What we set out to do, and what hasn't changed
Permanent outdoor lighting had been around nationally for over a decade, but was still unfamiliar to most Phoenix area homeowners in 2021. The idea was simple: install a system properly, once, and have it still look right years later.
What’s grown since then is the number of homes. What hasn’t changed is how the work gets checked before we leave.
The standard has always been that the install should look as good in year five as it did the day we finished.
The Standards We Hold Every Installation To
Values only mean something when they show up in the work. These are the four we’re measured against on every job, and they come from what homeowners tell us matters most.
We fit the track to follow your rooflines cleanly, because a permanent system is only as good as the way we mount it.
We install products built for continuous outdoor exposure, so the system holds up to Arizona sun and heat year after year.
We answer questions before, during, and after the install, and it’s the thing homeowners compliment most often.
We explain what the install involves and what drives your number, so you can make an informed decision rather than a rushed one.
THE PEOPLE WHO INSTALL YOUR LIGHTING
We install permanent lighting to stay on your home, so the crew doing the work matters more than the sales pitch. Our installers handle the job from the first layout through walking you through the app before they leave.
That continuity is deliberate.
THE PERSON WHO PLANS YOUR LIGHTING IS CONNECTED TO THE PERSON WHO INSTALLS IT, SO NOTHING GETS LOST BETWEEN THE QUOTE AND THE JOB.

Frequently asked questions
How long has Trimlight been around?
Trimlight pioneered permanent programmable lighting and has been in the industry since 2010, founded in Utah. Trimlight Phoenix opened as an authorized dealer in 2021. The product has had fifteen years of refinement behind it rather than arriving as a recent idea.
Why is Trimlight better than other permanent lighting systems?
The difference shows up over time rather than on day one. Trimlight’s system is backed by a Lifetime Product Warranty, which reflects how much testing sits behind the product. Copycat systems have appeared since 2010, but few carry that level of coverage.
Will the installation affect my gutters or drainage?
No. The channel is designed to mount without interfering with gutters or drainage, and it protects the wiring rather than leaving it exposed. Preserving the existing roof and gutter system was a specific design goal, not an afterthought.
Do I need to maintain the system myself?
No. If a bulb or controller fails under normal conditions, it’s covered by the Lifetime Product Warranty and we handle the repair. Trimlight Phoenix includes a five-year labor warranty; after that you’re responsible only for the service call, typically $75 to $95.
Can I install Trimlight myself?
DIY installation voids the Lifetime Product Warranty, so professional installation is required for coverage. Given that the warranty is the main reason to choose this system, self-installing removes most of what you’re paying for.
